Mötley Crüe Posters

I illustrated these two posters for the band Mötley Crüe, working with Collectionzz, a company specializing in limited edition screen prints.
My process started with sketching. I created as much concept art as I could and sent it off for the band, and the collectionzz art director, Steven, to look through and pick out what they wanted.
After looking through all of the concept art, they selected the following three pieces:
We had our concepts, and I began to build on each one, making sure to check with the art director as well as the band to make sure everything was progressing to their liking.
Everyone was happy, and I finalized the images by separating them into color layers for printing. Once the posters were done, The team at collectionzz created these amazing animated advertisements:
These posters were sold online via the collectionzz website. They were primarily marketed on Mötley Crüe's instagram. I was thrilled to see that they had fully sold sold out within a day of release.
